# RTS Entity Studio — release scope

This candidate provides unit definitions, role quantities, custom authoring component attachments, linked animation/equipment assets, explicit GPU baking, owned prefab generation and editable SubScene tests.

Verified development environment: Unity 6000.6.4f1 on Windows with Direct3D 11, URP 17.6.0, Entities and Entities Graphics 6.6.0. Compatibility with earlier Unity versions, HDRP, other graphics APIs and other platforms is unverified. See the release readiness report for clean-import and standalone status.

Install dependencies before importing the Assets-based package:
- com.unity.entities 6.6.0
- com.unity.entities.graphics 6.6.0
- com.unity.render-pipelines.universal 17.6.0

Their Package Manager dependencies include Collections, Mathematics and Burst. Enable Unity's Animation, Director and IMGUI modules when using a minimal custom project manifest. Use a URP pipeline with compute-shader-capable hardware. The sample pipeline and renderer assets can be assigned in Project Settings > Graphics and Quality; review changes to your project's render settings before applying them.

Start at QUICK_START.md, then USER_GUIDE.md. Runtime source is under Runtime; editor tooling is under Editor; standard keys are under Profiles/Keys. The procedural sample requires no downloaded model or animation pack.

This is an authoring/presentation tool. Gameplay movement, pathfinding, selection, combat, health, orders and formation engines are supplied by the developer. Test columns and spacing only place actors in a test scene. A MonoBehaviour attachment needs its own Baker/bridge to affect ECS simulation. Some equipment contracts require a host adapter; unsupported configurations are reported during generation.

There is no fixed creator-wide member cap. GPU allocations use batches of 16 and a 256 MiB world buffer budget. No large-scale capacity or performance claim is made. Verify your actual rigs, clips and equipment.

Publisher identity, final version, support contacts and listing text must be finalized before submission. This candidate has not been certified by Unity or submitted to the Asset Store.
